The Interventional Radiology Technologist, under the direction of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services and Imaging Department site manager, will perform technical duties within the Diagnostic Imaging Special Procedures environment. The incumbent is directly involved with a variety of special procedures which apply ionizing radiation and other forms of energy. May perform additional assignments as necessary.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiologic technology.2. Proficient in all areas of special procedures.
3. Performs at a technical level not requiring constant supervision Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: 1. Two years radiologic technology experience preferred.
2. A.A.S. degree in radiologic technology preferred. Licenses and Certifications Required: 1. Diagnostic Radiography License.
2. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification.
3. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
