The Supervisor RN- Team Health- NJ Turnpike Authority is responsible for the supervision of Occupational Health services to the employees of the Authority provided by direct reports. Provides professional assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care. Manages all aspects of the care of Authority employees who have been injured on the job. Works directly with the worker compensation carrier, treating provider(s), HR, and employee to facilitate appropriate treatment, return to work and maximum medical improvement for all occupational injuries.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- 3 years RN experience preferably in Occupational Health, Emergency Care/Urgent Care Center or Clinic Setting.
- Computer Literacy
- Phlebotomy
- English speaking: Excellent documentation & Communication skills
- Organized and ability to multitask
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- BSN
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- 2 years Nursing Leadership experience
- 2 years workers compensation case management experience.
- EMR experience
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse or Certified Occupational Health Nurse - Specialist.
