Description

The Asset Recovery Supervisor leads the Asset Recovery team and handles the day to day operations of the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing associates and efficient product flow throughout the department.
  • Select, hire, and train new associates.
  • Monitor associate productivity and provide constructive feedback, coaching.
  • Document performance, and provide recognition, provide feedback for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures.
  • Create a positive and engaged, foster an environment of team engagement within the department.
  • Foster a safety workplace environment.
  • Collaborate with all levels of management to develop department and associate goals/metrics.
  • Conduct training.
  • Communicate, monitor, and improve department metrics.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with other departments.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate department data (productivity, safety, QA, etc.)
  • Identify and explain budget & service level variances, (identify corrective actions).
  • Researching, compiling, initiating, sorting and analyzing production performance records and data.
  • Maintain timekeeping records to include attendance, personal time off, paid sick time
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Additional duties as assigned by leadership team.
Scope
  • Supervises- non-exempt.
  • Financial Scope – Responsible for achieving various department goals.
  • Job Location – Processing Centers
  • Decision Making – Ability to resolve various issues effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Travel – up to 10 %


Requirements

Job Qualifications – Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 5 years or more of related experience as an individual contributor; Bachelor's degree plus two or more years of experience supervising production personnel (ideally in Distribution) preferred
  • Intermediate level experienced with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong influence and motivational skills
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Knowledge of business concepts (DC operations management concepts preferred)
  • Knowledge of supervisory & leadership skills
  • Spanish fluency preferred

Physical Requirements
General warehouse environment requiring ability to:
  • stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time
  • speak and listen to others in person and over the phone
  • Team lift items over 50 lbs.

Safety
Must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, without endangering the health or safety of self or others.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $66,700-$83,400 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 200 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
