Marketing Assistant
Support the marketing efforts of Hawthorn Senior Living and its related business entities through prudent administrative functions of the Marketing Department to reach our corporate goal of 100 percent occupancy. Gain growth paths into marketing operations, production, and digital and hands-on experience across key platforms, campaigns, and reporting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
· High school graduate or equivalent.
· Minimum two years of office experience is required; preferred experience in marketing, advertising, communications or related field.
· Proficiency in computer use and relevant software applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred.
· Proficiency in organizational skills and office administration skills.
· Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills.
· Excellent proofreading skills, grammar, punctuation, and attention to detail.
· Ability to work under time constraints and meet department deadlines.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet departmental deadlines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Generate weekly reports in excel with timeliness and accuracy.
·Proof all ad copy, marketing materials, social media posts/events, and website materials.
·Support Marketing Team with approving social media posts and responding to reviews.
·Provide daily support for marketing systems. Onboard users, create logins, reset access, and maintain accurate records across CRM, Reputation Manager, Expense Software, and Web Forms.
· Participate in the department brainstorming functions for development of copy and artwork.
· Work on special projects as assigned.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Carry out all duties assigned for the agreed upon wage accepting no additional monetary payment or non-perishable gifts from residents, vendors, Community management, etc.
· Meet the assigned work hour requirements of the job including required regular attendance.
· Keep all business and operations information confidential.
· Work with other staff members as a positive team player.
· Communicate in English during work hours.
