HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is a 267-bed top-performing quality hospital with over 200 of the most highly respected and qualified physicians in the area. Under general supervision, makes preparation, operates equipment and assists physicians in performing electrophysiology procedures and other duties as assigned. Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as a Technologist. Perform examinations on patients of various ages from Adult to geriatric.

Education:
Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required or graduate of RCIS/RCES program
Licensure/Certification:
Cardiovascular Technologist degree employee-RCES regiatry required. A CVT program graduate with no prior work experience has 18 months from hire date to obtain the RCES certification. New Hire / Internal Transfer Cardiovascular Tech with limited experience in a Cath Lab has 18 months from their hire date / transfer date to obtrain the RCES certification.
Radiology Technologiy degree employee- Florida Radiology Technologist license required. ARRT registry in Radiology Technology is required. ARRT registry in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) is preferred
BLS Healthcare Provider required. ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
Experience:
Electrophysiology Experience preferred
Successful completion of ARRT examination with a current license to practice radiographic technology preferred or RCIS credentials. Must be able to demonstrate skills in 2 special areas and be able to cover call if needed.
