  Job Description:

Responsible for participating in developing, leading and implementing logistical and medical record reviews, data formats and reports, gathering data from a variety of sources and platforms, and chart review, data retrieval, data entry, data presentation/formatting, and general support for the Hospital's Quality Standards program.  Serves as a resource for reports utilizing Meditech data and participates in the collection, compilation, analysis and presentation of data for the Quality Standards department. Retrieve and analyze medical records from the electronic systems. Ensures confidentiality of all data, records, reports and information in their role within the Quality Standards department.


Above average computer, office equipment (Fax Machine, Copier, etc.) and clerical skills required.  Clinical knowledge of communicable diseases, blood and/or body fluids helpful.  Must be able to handle a variety of responsibilities under pressure.  Must function independently and making appropriate decisions. Knowledge of collection of data retrieval from electronic health record systems as well as knowledge relative to state and Federal regulations. 

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • FL RN Licensure
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
  • 1 – 3+ years of clinical work experience in an acute care setting
  • Strong computer skills
  • Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
