HCA Florida Putnam Hospital 600 Zeagler Drive Palatka, FL  32177 Putnam Community Medical Center is now HCA Florida Putnam Hospital. Our 99-bed acute care facility, located in Palatka, provides the latest technology with the assurance of highly trained, caring professionals to the residents of Putnam County. We have a 10-bed intensive care unit, cardiac catheterization laboratory, and 24-hour emergency department. We also provide inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.  

Cancer Center of Putman is part of the HCA Healthcare network. Dr. Kuruvilla has partnered with HCA and Sarah Cannon to continue serving patients in Putnam County as he has since 1991.

The Cancer Center of Putnam is highly recognized to be in the forefront of cancer care, diagnosis and treatment in Northeast Florida. Dr. Anand Kuruvilla has been at the center since it opened 25 years ago and has been privileged to take care of the needs of Putnam County Citizens with Cancer. In addition to being Board Certified in radiation oncology, Dr. Kuruvilla has belonged to the American Academy of Hospice and palliative care since 2000.

We utilize state-of-the-art techniques such as Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Mammosite and Accuboost. We offer mobile PET/CT at our locations, which allow us to provide total care at the location of your choice.

Position Summary:

Support HCA Florida Putnam Hospital's hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities.The Radiation Technologist coordinates, plans, and administers high quality and comprehensive age/disease appropriate radiotherapy to oncology patients of all age groups by utilizing equipment, computers, and established techniques to ensure a positive patient experience. Demonstrating radiation safety standards with patient and staff members is essential.

Education: Graduate of School for Radiation Therapy
Licensure/ Certification/ Registration: ARRT, CPR
Experience: 3 years preferred
