Job Summary:

HCA Healthcare is seeking to recruit an interventional cardiologist to join a large and growing cardiology practice based in Brownsville, TX.

Qualified Candidates:

• Physicians must have training from an interventional cardiology fellowship, or have experience as an interventional cardiologist
• The qualified candidate must be able to obtain or maintain an active and clear Texas medical license in good standing
• Must be board certified, or board eligible with the ability to retain board certification
• Spanish speaking cardiologist strongly preferred, but not required
• Practice is willing to sponsor H1B visa cardiologists
• Clinic hours are 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Thursday, and Friday from 8 am - 3 pm
• The practice has current clinic locations in South Texas - and is planning on expanding into the Brownsville market with a new, successful interventional cardiology recruit to their team

Incentive/Benefits Package:

• Valley Regional Medical Center will offer up a financial support to the new recruit, including salary subsidy support in year one of practice, along with practice expense support to help the recruit get established in the community
• The hospital will also offer relocation and marketing allowance, as well as a sign-on bonus

• The current practice has a team of cardiologists on staff, covering three locations across Southern Texas
• Practice has been serving the South Texas area for over 30 years
