Job Summary This position is responsible for leading the development of functional and non-functional business requirements; working with the Business Solutions Lead to understand business strategy and translate into product requirement.NOTE: This hybrid role can be located in CHICAGO IL, TULSA,OK or RICHARDSON TX ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available.
Required Job Qualifications:
*Bachelor Degree and 2 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 4-year Information Technology experience OR 6 years Information Technology experience.
*Must be very familiar FHIR API and resources, data mapping between HL7 v2 and FHIR
*Familiar with interoperability mandate
*Ability to develop source to target maps, perform functional testing of FHIR outputs Strong understanding and knowledge of healthcare standards such as HL7 V2 messages, HL7 CCDA, HL7 FHIR, and IHE ITI transactions
*Knowledge of system architecture and application portfolio.
*Knowledge of requirements management and/or prototyping using Jira
*Ability to simplify & standardize complex concepts and/or processes.
*Business acumen.
*Project management skills
*Requirements definition and management.
*SDLC, Iterative, Agile, OWF, and /or Scrum development.
*Problem solving and/or analytical thinking.
*Possess ability to manage workload and manage multiple priorities, as applicable.
*Written and verbal communications
Preferred Job Qualifications:
*Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Information Technology
*Business process management and modeling.
*BA certification
*Experience working in Healthcare industry
* Knowledge of plan benefit design; product dealing with plan benefit design
*Experience of working in product development
*Experience with data analysis and reporting
*Experience of working with diverse group of stakeholders
*Experience of EDI transactions such as 270/71, 276/277
*Working experience with the following HL7 interfaces/messages: ADT, ORM, ORU, RDE and MDM with good understanding of the principles of asynchronous information exchange interface
*Should have strong understanding of healthcare data, including clinical data in both proprietary and industry standard formats.
*Excellent documentation skills, including workflow documentation and diagrams Strong understanding of Data formats and other Healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD, SNOMED, CPT, LOINC) intermediate level experience in SQL queries
*Experience of working on projects involving API integration solutions between multiple systems
