Job Summary Enterprise Architects partner with senior level business and IT leaders to develop future state architecture strategies and steward their execution through implementation for a major business area. The Enterprise Architect aligns to one or more of HCSC's major business areas, and will be responsible for leading enterprise architecture work across business, solution, application, data, and technology domains. The Enterprise Architect will guide the future state architecture and business and technical capability evolution of their business areas, and serve as an architecture leader and strategic advisor to executive-level stakeholders. Experience with planning and leading architecture delivery for large-scale business and systems transformation programs is a must.
Enterprise Architects also create candidate architectures for key investments; mentor and coach solution architects on key architecture decision-making; and advise IT and business leaders on emerging technology innovations with potential to impact business strategy. Enterprise Architects are leaders for architecture delivery across all domains for their business areas, champions of architecture in delivering business results, and stewards for Future State Architecture direction across the enterprise. The Enterprise Architect plays a key part in aligning business and technology strategy to enable HCSC to be successful in the changing healthcare marketplace.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business Management, Programming, Economics, Engineering, OR a related discipline with an advanced degree preferred, or its equivalent.
* 12+ years of technical experience, including:

a) Application architecture

b) Inter/intra/extranet specific hardware and software architecture design

c) Development and deployment methodology

d) Current application and integration technology design work

e) Solid, verifiable, leadership

f) Verifiable communications experience (internal and external presentations)

g) High transaction volume application development

h) Object, Component, Service Oriented design and development

i) Experience in more than one architecture pattern or method

j) Message based and JAVA oriented technologies

k) Knowledge management

* Knowledge in all areas of data, security, application or integration architecture and associated technologies.
* Leadership and communications skills.
* Business acumen, strategic and analytical thinking, root cause analysis, and creative problem solving ability.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Health Care industry experience

* Individual Health Plan / ACA / Medicare / Medicaid domain experience

* Business Architecture, Business Process Design, User Experience Design, and Service Blueprint experience

* Technology consulting or management consulting experience

* Solid understanding of modeling notations including UML, BPMN, ArchiMate, SysML, etc.

* Solid understanding of security architecture, data architecture, infrastructure architecture or business intelligence/analytics is a plus

* Experience with TriZetto Facets is a plus
