Job Summary This role will be responsible for identifying, curating and/or developing new products and solutions that support Luminare Health's efforts to grow and retain clients in new and emerging market segments, including, but not limited to its back-office line of business, including Direct to Employer solutions for hospitals and hospital systems, Indigenous Nations (Tribal), Individual/Affordable Care Act, Medicare and other populations and benefit plan sponsors. The Product Development role will also support development and expansion of products and solutions primarily owned by Luminare Health (as compared to primarily vended solutions) and supported by internal Luminare Health resources to ensure they remain competitive and deliver continuous value to our clients. This role will work with other product team members and other constituents throughout the organization to develop product and solution strategies that separate Health Benefits from its competitors while delivering continuous value to clients and their members. This role will collaborate with other members of the Product team for the effective implementation of new products/solutions and strategies that influence client retention, expand sales and position Luminare Health as a leading voice in the industry. This role will facilitate/lead product strategy, design and development for the market segments noted above. The duties will also include gathering information on market trends, competitive solutions, broker, and clients demands and member challenges to develop and design solutions that address the needs of these constituents while delivering measurable value. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working with cross-functional teams, developing presentations for internal leadership, supporting go-to-market strategy for new products and solutions, and promoting our innovative solutions in new ways.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • 7 years of relevant product development and market intelligence experience within the employee benefits industry with specific experience with developing internal/owned products and solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Healthcare, Insurance and/or Benefits Industry knowledge required.
  • Strong examples of applying the customer experience perspectives into product design
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships.
  • Proven management and leadership abilities
  • Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to interact and collaborate with all levels of associates in the organization.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • MBA degree or Masters' degree in business administration with emphasis in product management or marketing
  • Experience with product lifecycle tools like pragmatic marketing

The salary offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan.

Min to Max Range:

$55,300.00 - $103,800.00
