Job Summary Job Summary: Our goal at HCSC is to be a trusted partner in health for our members who are our No. 1 priority and at the forefront of what we are doing. On the Member Experience & Engagement Analytics team, a newly emerging function within Data & Analytics Solutions (DAS), we build innovative and cost-effective solutions utilizing the latest approaches and technologies in analytics and AI to elevate the experience for our members and help improve their outcomes.

This position is responsible for analyzing data to generate valuable insights about who our members are and how best to engage with them, critical to informing enterprise strategies and prioritization efforts. Individuals in this role will be responsible for understanding and unpacking complex business challenges and requirements, translating them to data, analysis and reporting specifications, and providing comprehensives syntheses and recommendations for action. Types of data utilized may include but not be limited to: Demographics, utilization, financials, outcomes, web metrics and digital uptake and adoption data. The ability to identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to drive data-informed decision making is critical, as is the ability to communicate and interact effectively and professionally with business partners, IT and technology colleagues as well as fellow team members. This role is expected to provide heavy consultative support on how to leverage data for better member engagement and leadership on cross-functional teams is also expected.

Required Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor Degree and 7 years experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics including 4 years experience in data analysis and information reporting related to healthcare marketing, or customer analytics OR 10 years experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics including 4 years experience in data analysis and information reporting related to healthcare marketing or customer analytics.
* Strong Technical Analytical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following computer languages: SQL, R, Python
* Expert with Microsoft Office and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, etc.); strong understanding of database architecture
* Strong presentation skills and data visualization skills. Experience presenting key insights and recommendations to external clients/audiences
* Ability to anticipate internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues as well as recommend process, product or service improvements
* Ability to solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business

Preferred Skills and Experience:
* Master's degree in a quantitative or Analytics/Data science field
* 5 years of experience in the realm of behavioral economics, behavioral science, product marketing with at least 1 year acting as a consultative advisor in a client-facing role
* Analytical thinking, communication for Results, conceptual thinking, information seeking, initiative, openness to learning, results orientation, teamwork, thoroughness, understanding environment.
