Job Summary BASIC FUNCTIONThis position is responsible for leading the creation and maintenance of capital and cash flow analyses designed to assess, forecast and model various business scenarios. Additionally, this position will support Corporate and Treasury capital and cash flow planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as leading the preparation of ongoing monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting and analysis. Lastly, this position leads assessments, development and improvement of modeling practices that support capital and cash flow scenario planning, stress testing, and “business as usual” activities.
NOTE: this role is hybrid/flex and requires in-office attendance three days weekly. Relocation is not offered, sponsorship will not be extended ~
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- At least one of the following professional financial certification/designation, CPA, CFA, MBA, or completion of an industry training course in financial statement analysis.
- 6 years' experience in financial services, banking or insurance accounting and financial management.
- 2 years' in a lead capacity.
- Knowledge of treasury operations GAAP/Statutory Accounting theory, and Risked Based Capital (RBC).
- Must have a working knowledge of various PC spreadsheet/database applications, software packages and strong financial modeling skills.
- Exceptional verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills and ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to establish working relationships across departments and establish a team environment.
- Solid understanding of a balance sheet, cash flow and income statement along with financial analysis concepts such as margin analysis, ROI, and capital evaluation.
- Ability to analyze internal/external information using data manipulation, correlation, and statistical analysis.
- Problem solving and analytical acumen.
- Strong critical and strategic thinking/planning.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Experience working with Financial Modeling Applications/Software.
- 4 years in a supervisory capacity.
- 3+ years of financial modeling, model validation, and/or risk management with a focus on quantitative modeling and risk measurement techniques and processes.
- Specialized technical skills including stress testing, scenario modeling or internal capital adequacy assessment processes.
