We're searching for a team member that excels in the ability to multi-task a fast-paced work environment. This individual must be a team player that enjoys the opportunity to trouble shoot and problem solve a wide variety of tasks. This is a full-time position that is located in Dallas, Texas.

Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

• Professional phone and person to person communication skills
• Knowledge of intermodal operations pertaining to ocean containers, railroads and steamship lines a plus
• Assist company truck drivers, vendors and contractors in a timely manner
• Accurately assist with extensive data entry to benefit the dispatch team
• Manage a high volume of phone calls in a professional manner
• Skillfully troubleshoot and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate efficiency and productivity in all aspects of the office work environment

Requirements

• Multitasker that thrives in a fast-paced work environment
• Ideal candidate is self-motivated and can work independently 
• Occasional Saturday or Sunday work during busy seasons may be required
• 90% in office work environment and up to 10% outside of terminal is normal  
• Microsoft Office proficiency with emphasis on Excel
• Monday through Friday work schedule, occasional Sat. & Sun. during the busy season maybe required
• Previous truck dispatch experience is preferred
