Holyoke Medical Center is a proud 219-bed community hospital that has served the healthcare needs of the Pioneer Valley for over 125 years.#We continue to grow and address the needs of our community through quality, patient-centered care.# Our#laboratory team is looking for an ASCP or AMT registered, or registry-eligible,#Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician who believes in our Lab#s Mission Statement of working collaboratively to ensure quality results for every patient every time. Duties include specimen testing as well as specimen processing and clerical duties. REQUIREMENTS: For MT/MLS#- Bachelors degree with successful completion of sciences mandated for eligibility for MT/MLS ASCP or AMT licensing exam For MLT - Associates degree from an accredited program as a Medical Laboratory Technician# OR# Bachelors degree in an appropriate science with eligibility for MLT ASCP or AMT licensing exam. **Experience and/or theoretical knowledge of all clinical laboratory depts., including Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology#is required.** # Applicants must have: A passion for caring about a community through quality work in a stand-alone hospital lab. A drive to learn new practices to be able to adapt to our rapidly growing test menu. A willingness to offer new ideas to the team to help with our culture of continuous improvement.
