NURSE MANAGER-PERI-OPERATIVE SERVICES-FULL TIME To manage the delivery of safe and effective nursing care.# Administer direct nursing care to patients.# Manages the department in compliance with the policies and procedures of the Hospital regulations of applicable regulatory#agencies.# Capable of explaining procedures.# Communicates and collaborates with surgeons to facilitate OR programming.# Research, develop and/or implement appropriate scheduling/booking procedures for the operating suites.# Cultivates, maintains and enhances inter-departmental relationships.# Utilize tactful, direct and sensitive interaction skills in promoting positive customer relations and inter-personal relationships. REQUIREMENTS: BSN or Nursing Degree and BS in Healthcare Administration/Management.# Current license within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse; current CPR Certification.# Four to five years Clinical Nursing Specialty; one year of which is in a management or supervisory position.
