Holyoke Medical Center is a 219-bed independent community hospital that has served the healthcare needs of the Pioneer Valley for over 125 years.# We continue to grow and address the needs of our community through quality and patient-centered care.# Our Respiratory Therapy team is seeking an individual to provide respiratory care#services to#patients with cardiopulmonary insufficiencies, in compliance with the medical center#s standards of care.# The scope of patient services provided encompasses age groups ranging from infants to a predominant population of geriatrics.# Accountabilities include providing respiratory therapy services in both clinical and community settings, positive customer, interdepartmental and intra-departmental communications, and maintaining and improving competencies.# REQUIREMENTS: Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an A.M.A. approved program; advanced training in therapies for persons of all ages desirable; Current registration as a Registered Respiratory Therapist from the National Board of Respiratory Care OR must be obtained within 6 months of employment ; current license within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Respiratory Therapist; current CPR certification required; current NRP required within three months of employment; ACLS desirable Applicants must have: A passion for caring about our community through quality work A willingness to offer new ideas to the team to help with our culture of continuous improvement.
