What you will be doing..

The Area Sales Executive, Select Brands will partner with a variety of stakeholders including General Managers, Regional Director of Operations, and Vice Presidents of Operations. This role's goal is to deliver best in market sales performance for their portfolio of hotels. Key performance indicators for this role will be RevPAR Index, personal BT & Group revenue performance vs. budget, group pace and sales activities. 70% of the Area Sales Executive's time will be spent directly selling for assigned hotels and approximately 30% of time spent on supporting, leading and driving performance of individual property sales managers within portfolio of assigned hotels. The position will report to Corporate Director of Sales, Select Brands

  • Provide leadership to position the property to achieve the mission and the departments to achieve their goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement business plan.
  • Ability to sell concepts and ideas to management, peers, and employees.
  • Collaborate with the team, cultivate and enhance internal/external relationships to attain goals and drive market share.
  • Demonstrate an atmosphere of teamwork, morale and a spirit of fun!
  • Create a winning team of highly engaged sales professionals, mentor and develop constantly to achieve success and their next desired opportunity.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5yr(s) of Hotel Sales Experience, primarily in select or focused service hotel environments. 
  • Marriott and Hilton Brand Experience, Required. 
  • Track Record of Leading Performance
  • Experience managing and leading sales team of 5+ Associates.
  • BA/BS 4-5 year degree or foreign equivalent and or combination of experience.
  • Experience with Brand Sales Systems

Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
