Description

Description of the Position: Support management on the responsibility and authority to ensure that processes needed for inventory management across the enterprise. Responsible for creating replenishment strategies, executing SKU transitions, maintaining network balance through parameters, and collaborating with internal and external cross functional partners. Responsibilities: * Leverages software systems to execute “day to day” inventory control. Identifies and prioritizes root causes of inventory discrepancies and drives corrective actions and control mechanisms across the facility. * Manages customer relations and partners with Operations to address fill rate, lead time, damaged in-transit issues and supplier return process. Creates import orders based on containerization requirements. * Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. * Report Daily cycle count results and ensure the facility is tracking to compliance with Inventory KPI's. * Periodic Destruction Write-Offs to minimize Warehouse Capacity in terms of Obsolete and Storage * Other duties as assigned. Salary: 60,000.00 - 70,000.00 Requirements: * 3+ years of supervisory experience in a distribution, 3PL, or warehouse environment * Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, or general business preferred * The Ability to troubleshoot errors and execute corrective actions * Customer & Vendor Management skills * Strong communication skills, to be able to present complex data analysis to both, internal and external customers * Strong Microsoft Office experience including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Experience with one more of the following: WMS Software, SAP, Nulogy, and Red Prairie required * * Experience with 5S and continuous improvement programs * Proficiency with labor planning to execute the Inventory Management Strategy Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
