Position Summary:
The Senior Operations Supervisor leads a team within a distribution or warehouse environment, ensuring efficient operations, adherence to company standards, and exceptional customer service. This role oversees daily workflow, assigns tasks, monitors performance, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. Serving as a critical link between frontline staff and upper management, the Senior Supervisor ensures goals are met through effective coaching, problem-solving, and operational oversight.


Work Schedule: 2nd shift weekdays or Weekend Days (to be determined)

Travel Specifics: 


Competitive Compensation/Benefits: Attractive annual salary of $70,000-$75,000 plus bonus with benefits including PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more.  Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.  


Key Responsibilities:



  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations related to shipping, receiving, material handling, and inventory control.

  • Ensure team compliance with operational procedures, safety regulations, and company policies.

  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure team certifications are current (e.g., OSHA).

  • Collaborate with upper management to implement productivity standards, process improvements, and training initiatives.

  • Track KPIs and deliver on performance goals, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and internal metrics.

  • Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance reporting for hourly associates.

  • Resolve operational issues and employee concerns through effective coaching and performance management.

  • Lead and support audits by maintaining accurate documentation and enforcing compliance.

  • Promote a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to legal regulations and internal safety standards.

  • Respond to workplace incidents, conduct investigations, and complete required reporting.

  • Champion ID Logistics' safety and quality programs, including GMP and 5S initiatives.



Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED or work experience plus education in lieu of a advanced degree.
  • 5+ years supervisory experience in a warehouse, 3PL, or distribution environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and WMS systems.
  • Familiarity with 5S, safety procedures, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience managing timekeeping records; familiarity with ADP or similar platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams of 20+ people in a fast-paced, high-volume operation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced warehouse/distribution environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous leadership experience supporting customer audits and compliance initiatives.
  • Experience launching new business sites and initiatives.  
  • Formal training or certification in lean principles, OSHA safety, or leadership development.
