**Job Type:** Part-Time (Thursday-Saturday)

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Vibrant Life Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working Thursday through Saturday. This role will involve supporting our Vibrant Life coordinator in organizing and implementing activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being among our residents or clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of wellness principles, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating various programs and activities that align with the Vibrant Life philosophy, including fitness classes, arts and crafts, social events, and educational workshops.
- Engage with residents or clients to encourage participation and foster a sense of community.
- Provide support during activities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
- Monitor and assess the interests and needs of participants to adapt programs accordingly.
- Collaborate with the Vibrant Life coordinator and other team members to ensure cohesive and effective program delivery.
- Maintain equipment and supplies needed for activities, ensuring everything is organized and ready for use.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to scheduling and program evaluation as needed.
- Record participant attendance and feedback to help evaluate the success of programs.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, and fellow staff, promoting a culture of respect and inclusion.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in health, recreation, or related fields is a plus.
- Previous experience in a caregiving, recreational, or wellness role preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- A positive attitude with a passion for enhancing the quality of life for others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of participants.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and scheduling purposes.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
**Work Environment:**
- This position requires working in a variety of settings, including community spaces, outdoor areas, and small group settings.
- Must be able to assist residents or clients with mobility needs when necessary.
