IT Infrastructure Monitoring and Deployment Engineer

Your role in helping us shape the future:
Provide prompt and quality support to IT Operations teams by responding to alerts relating to IT infrastructure and fixing the underlying condition using established standard procedures. Escalating to other teams in IT Operations when their involvement is required to fix the condition causing the monitoring alert. Take on tasks in the IT infrastructure lifecycle related to provisioning.

Are you up to the challenge?

• Join a dedicated IT infrastructure team that is tasked with implementing new and exciting technologies that drive our business efficiencies and support our employees and customer revenue stream. Monitors and tracks service impacting changes in the Enterprise infrastructure
• Monitor and analyze incident alerts regarding outages or degradation in infrastructure components and services affecting the Enterprise using monitoring tools
• Perform VM deployment and other repeatable IT infrastructure provisioning tasks.
• Work with IT Operations teams during the installation, upgrade, or decommissioning of infrastructure or software 

You should definitely have:

• 1 – 2 years of IT experience
• Systems Administration experience on Windows and Linux servers
• Familiarity with ticketing tools – ServiceNow, Remedy, etc
• Experience with system and infrastructure monitoring tools – Argent, ManageEngine, vCenter, Nagios, Oracle OEM, Whatsup Gold, Prometheus, etc
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and organizational skills, ability to take technical direction and prioritize tasks

It would be nice if you had:

• Certifications in Windows Server, Linux, VMware and/or Networking Technologies
• Working knowledge of Citrix or other application delivery technologies
• Good understanding of TCP/IP and ability to understand and assist in solving network server problems or network infrastructure issues
• Understanding of distributed systems architecture and general knowledge of multiple technical disciplines
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent
