Your impact

You will have the opportunity to do enhancements to the existing software, do bugs, participate in PROD deployments, monitor and ensure that the deployments are working fine. You will also be involved in any company-wide releases that contain your code changes and you'll be working with those teams to ensure your changes don't cause issues.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to RCAs and come up with ideas for how processes can be improved in the org. You will have opportunities to upgrade the components used from a technical perspective.

You will have the opportunity to involve in PROD support and monitor any issues that happen and report them to the relevant teams.

You will also be working on features that are upcoming and identify potential architecture or any other issues early.

What you will do

• Lead teams to ensure your enhancements/bug fixes are working fine in PROD. Collaborate with other teams when your enhancements/bug fixes are involved in their releases
• Lead teams to ensure the output of our team is high & inefficiencies are identified & fixed.
• Manage production issues that arise & come up with solutions to mitigate them or fix them.
• Coordinate releases across teams if such situations arise
• Resolve CICD failures and ensure no team is blocked.
• Identify opportunities to improve the way we do work by identifying inefficiencies.

 Your required experience/skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent 
• A minimum of 5-8 years of recent, relevant experience with Java & SpringBoot
• Knowledge of microservice architecture & debugging in a microservice environment
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, relational databases & SQL, NoSQL, AWS concepts
• Good debugging skills
• Ability to creatively think of what could have gone wrong based on reports from the field and logs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills that help communicating with USA-based colleagues.

• Being a person whom other stakeholders can reach out to when the tech lead is not available.

• Aviation domain knowledge
• Log monitoring tools like AWS OpenSearch
