The Caleb Brett team provides cargo inspection and analytical assessment to the world's petroleum, mining, minerals and biofuels industries. With solutions based on years of expertise, innovation and advanced analytical capabilities, we help customers optimize return on cargoes and help them resolve difficult technical challenges.

 
What You'll Do On The Job As A Business Development Representative:

 

  • Sales and business development of Intertek Caleb Brett services.
  • Develop new business opportunities through marketing efforts to include trade shows, trade organizations and prospecting.
  • Working with Operations Management, to devise strategies to further penetrate existing customers.
  • Identify new client initiatives and develop a business plan to capture the future business.
  • Evaluates and reports customer feedback. 
  • Resolves customer service-related issues (i.e., pricing and product availability).
  • Generates quotes and orders for customer as required, utilizing internal business
    processes.
  • Gives input for sales forecast and pipeline (quarterly / yearly).
  • Captures monthly sales activities and opportunities through CRM system.
  • Reviews pricing of products as required and manages client feedback 
  • Implements customer-specific action plans.
  • Introduces new products and services to the accounts, both within the Caleb Brett division and unilaterally to all other divisions.

     What It Takes To Be Successful In This Role:

  • Advanced education helpful, but not required
  • 5 years + sales experience with documented success in the petroleum industry preferred
  • Spectacular presentation skills. 
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Applications including PowerPoint, i Connect, Publisher, etc.
  • Self-Starter with Excellent Communication, Organizational, Interpersonal, Time
    Management, and Selling Skills 
  • Ability to travel to client locations.
  • Valid Driver's License With Reliable Driving Record-Required
