Client Engagement Manager

What You Will Get to Do:

  • Pre-sales experience to understand the client's business needs and leverage solution-oriented mindset to solve the problems.
  • Utilizing the seller mindset to drive a value-based conversation with the clients and define clear roadmap of the solution.
  • Customer-facing experience- primarily responsible for interfacing with Bankers, Advisories, lawyers, End Clients, and other business stakeholders on the discovery, design, implementation, or delivery of our Deal Services offerings.
  • Project Management experience- conducting complete requirement gathering sessions, prepares cost estimates and initial timeline. Document different Artifacts (i.e., Requirement document, custom processes, Work Instructions, etc.) during project delivery.
  • Researching and maintaining the knowledge of emerging technologies within the Deal Services offered and building solutions to solve business problems.

Pre-sales Responsibilities:

  • Understand the market we are servicing, good knowledge of Financial Technology (M&A, Liens and Loans, Banking, Capital Markets, Alternative Investments)
  • Support Sales by providing a consultative approach to accelerate the sale of Deal Services and driving the value.
  • Understand client business needs, gather initial requirements, recommend best practices through direct client interaction, and work closely with cross-functional teams to assemble Services that meet the client's needs.
  • Capable of preparing cost estimates & talking to rate cards, calculating and managing timelines, and setting client expectations.
  • Sales opportunity and pipeline management

Delivery Responsibilities:

  • Lead Kick-off call and present implementation or delivery plan.
  • Lead/participate in client requirement gathering sessions to define and understand the overall client use case, requirements, infrastructure, pain points, and existing systems.
  • Recommend and design Deal Service solutions based on best practices, Intralinks product guidelines, and rational sense.
  • Document different artifacts (i.e., Requirement document, custom processes, Work Instructions, etc.) pertaining to the required service or Intralinks product/service.
  • Communicate requirements and lead/coordinate with external Partners.
  • Validate the accuracy of the implemented service throughout the project life cycle.
  • Document and provide feedback to the Partners and/or Product Management/Development team on client feedback, any challenges, or areas of improvement.
  • Validate Partner invoices against closed project opportunities.
  • Seeks opportunities to upsell products and services.
  • Be forward-thinking to identify gaps and look for ways to optimize and streamline.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's in Business management, Financial Information Systems, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ Years in a Presales or Sales support role 
  • Project Management.  Business Analyst experience/Attention to detail is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in a Sales type customer success or customer-facing role.
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical teams including Sales, Presales, Customer Service, legal, marketing, Finance, Product Management, and Development
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, services and about any technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.
  • Interface with customers, colleagues, management, and project stakeholders, as needed, to ensure overall project success.
  • Optimally, has a balanced combination of large corporate and small, entrepreneurial company backgrounds.
  • Understands financial markets (e.g. M&A, large Corporates, Liens and Loans, Banking, Capital Markets, Alternative Investments)
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical teams including Customer Service, Product Management, Development, Sales, Pre-sales, legal, and marketing.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus in support of our Latin America Geo

Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions. NY: Salary range for the position: 90,000 USD to 100,000 USD. Other States Salary range for the position: 90,000 USD to 100,000 USD.
