Salesforce QA Analyst

SS&C Intralinks is seeking a Salesforce QA Analyst to join the Business Applications team in its Waltham office.

About the Team:
The Business Applications team is responsible for the implementation, support and enhancement of internal systems and processes across the organization. We work closely with all teams and gain a deep understanding of how each one functions to ensure they have the appropriate tools and processes to focus on their core competencies. Our primary objective for this role is to recruit a talented and self-driven individual who has the ability to understand complex technical processes and use existing knowledge of Salesforce to help provide high quality business solutions through our enterprise Salesforce platform. This position will be part of the Business Applications Development Team.

Day to day:

  • Play key role in the product life-cycle from design to release including:
    • Work with business systems analysts and other business stakeholders to refine requirements and proactively address potential product usability, reliability, functionality, and performance-related issues
    • Work closely with development team to ensure requirements are understood and customer value is delivered
    • Review project requirements, develop test cases, thoroughly execute testing by creating test data to reproduce the steps of a business user and provide clearly written documentation to communicate results to team
    • Collaborate with team to support UAT activities
    • Support deployment and post-implementation testing/validation of releases
  • Actively participate in daily stand-up Business Applications Team meetings to review, troubleshoot and resolve production issues which may include but are not limited to:
    • Prepare, and execute test scenarios to reproduce production issues in non-production environments
    • Research problems and propose, design, execute, and document test cases to identify potential issues and to prevent production issues
  • Assist team with environment maintenance activities in various systems when QA services are required
  • Participate in knowledge sharing with other team members
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure that it is entered into appropriate repositories and systems of record
  • Stay up to date on the technologies and products being implemented by Intralinks to develop efficient test approaches and participate in helping others to learn and use these approaches and
  • Handle special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Minimum experience:

  • BS in Computer Science or similar field
  • 3+ years of QA/Analyst experience on the Salesforce platform
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Hands-on experience with CPQ, Zuora, DocuSign and Workday is a plus
  • Background in Technical Support a plus
