Benefits Analyst

Salary Range: $53,000 - $58,000

Location: Remote- USA

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Benefits Analyst to join our Client Success Department. In this role, you'll work directly with clients to resolve discrepancies, understand their unique configurations, and maintain high standards of data integrity.

This position also involves collaborating with internal teams, optimizing workflows, and contributing to the development of benefits documentation and best practices while ensuring compliance with legal and security protocols.  

Key Responsibilities 

Purpose

The Benefit Analyst is responsible for building, supporting, and troubleshooting ongoing benefit-related tasks and inquiries.

What will you be doing?

  • Ticket & Task handling
  1. Collaboration with Administrators, Brokers and Carrier Contacts
  2. Act as a primary contact for ongoing benefit-related inquiries and issues
  3. Work with benefits administrators, brokers and/or carriers resolve any discrepancies or problems
  4. Importing Enrollments
  5. Assisting with Carrier Connection tickets (ex: Ameriflex setup for Benefit Implementations)
  • Benefit Builds & QA's
  1. Assist in the planning and execution of benefit builds (implementation and renewal)
  2. Work with brokers/vendors to gather and update renewal data
  3. Conduct QA to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Carrier Connection Building and Troubleshooting
  1. EDI Building and Troubleshooting
  • Develop and manage 834 EDI files to ensure accurate and efficient data exchange
  • Build and maintain Ameriflex COBRA and Flex account feeds
  1. Carrier form building and troubleshooting
  • Develop and manage carrier form build creation and updating
  • Troubleshoot and resolve carrier form issues
  • Submit bug tickets
  1. Ensure proper issues are flagged and raised appropriately

SLA's, KPI's and Metrics
  • Response Time to Inquiries in Benefit Support Related Items: Respond to all benefit-related inquiries from clients within 4 business hours.
  • Issue Resolution Time: Resolve identified benefit data discrepancies and issues within 4 business days.
  • Client Satisfaction Score: 80% or higher client satisfaction on benefit-related inquiries.
  • EDI and renewal inbox
  1. Timely and categorized appropriately
  • Carrier Form completion within 2-week turnaround
  • Tasks completed in Hubspot
  1. Ameriflex
  2. Importing Enrollments
  3. Auditing Enrollments
  4. Tier 2 support tasks

Qualifications & Experience 
  • 3–4 years of experience in employee benefits support inquiries in a client facing environment
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail when working with complex benefits information
  • Experience using various benefits platforms, with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly  
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions  
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve data discrepancies efficiently 
  • Proficiency in basic to intermediate Excel for data manipulation and reporting  
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment  
  • Strong sense of confidentiality, integrity, and professional ethics  
  • Positive, collaborative attitude and self-driven work style
