JDA TSG has immediate opportunities for PowerShell Engineers to join our team working as a Customer Engineers (CE's). Positions are full time salaried roles offering comprehensive benefits. A CE's time is dedicated to working with some of the largest, and most sophisticated companies in the world, usually F1000 companies. CE's work with and assist customers in building, deploying, operating, and optimizing complex enterprise environments. You will be responsible for customer satisfaction, deployment, adoption, and support of PowerShell initiatives. 

 

US Citizenship is required for this role

 

Salary Range: $95 - $110K based on experience

Travel: CE's are home based, delivering services predominately via Microsoft Teams, however, some travel may be required.

 

Primary Work Includes:

• Standard Product Work Shops - Training
• In-Depth Product Reviews via White Board “Chalk Talk” Sessions
• Administer Health Checks and Risk Assessments
• Post Operational Review of Product Implementations
• Product Upgrade and or Migration Assessments
• Systems Performance Reviews
• Act as the primary technical contact, providing customer visibility, advanced technical support and problem resolution

The experience you'll need to excel in the role:

Windows PowerShell

 - Scripting and Automating

 - Developing complex Modules and Functions

 - Desired State Configuration management

 - Administration and Management of Cloud Environments

 - Automation of cloud deployments, configurations and management tasks.

 - Familiarity with Azure-specific PowerShell cmdlets and modules.

 - Extending PowerShell capabilities using C# or other .NET languages.

 - Experience with third-party PowerShell tools and libraries that extend its functionality

 - Experience integrating PowerShell scripts into CI/CD pipelines for automation of build, test, and deployment tasks.

 - Knowledge of scripting security protocols and compliance checks using PowerShell.

 - Security auditing and remediation processes

 - Optimizing and Monitoring PowerShell scripts for performance improvements

 - Experience in creating comprehensive documentation for PowerShell scripts and solutions.

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications (in order of importance/preference):

 - Team collaboration tools (TFS or Azure DevOps Server (on-prem), Azure DevOps Online or Github)

 - CI/CD experience (i.e. Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions)

 - Experience with N-Tier or Large-Scale application development environments

  - IIS / HTTP.SYS / Kestrel

  - Containers and Container Orchestration (I.E. Kubernetes, Docker Compose)

  - Observability and Telementry (Azure Monitor or Application Insights)

  - Production application troubleshooting and debugging (Visual Studio, WinDBG, DebugDiag)

  - Other languages, frameworks, and platforms (i.e. Python, Angular, C++)

  - Infrastructure as Code (i.e. Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates)

  - Power Apps/Power Platform/Low Code/No Code
