Our Cyber Security Operations Manageris accountable for:

  • Cybersecurity incident response, vulnerability management, and network security operations. 
  • Ensures swift identification, containment, and resolution of security incidents while proactively mitigating risks from vulnerabilities and network threats. 
  • Lead a skilled team of security professionals, craft incident response strategies, and partner with cross-functional departments to bolster Kelly's security framework.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Incident Response Team: Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and operational leadership, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring the team is equipped with knowledge of the latest threats and technologies.
  • Develop and Refine Incident Response Plans: Create, maintain, and routinely test plans, playbooks, and procedures to guarantee effective incident handling, incorporating lessons from tabletop exercises and real incidents.
  • Orchestrate Incident Response: Direct efforts during security incidents—investigating, containing, eradicating, and recovering—while maintaining clear, concise communication with stakeholders under pressure.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with IT, Security, Infrastructure, Legal, and PR teams to analyze alerts, logs, and incidents, pinpointing root causes and assessing impacts, including breach notifications when required.
  • Conduct Post-Incident Analysis: Lead reviews to extract lessons learned and drive actionable enhancements to processes, tools, or technologies.
  • Oversee Vulnerability Management: Manage scanning, prioritize vulnerabilities based on business impact and exploitability, and coordinate remediation across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Shape Network Security Policies: Develop and enforce policies, ensuring proper firewall setups, IDS/IPS optimization, network segmentation, and alignment with emerging security technologies and threats.
  • Leverage Threat Intelligence: Monitor intelligence sources and integrate insights into operations to detect and neutralize threats preemptively.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Partner with internal and external parties to relay incident status, impacts, and remediation plans, delivering clear, non-technical updates for executive audiences.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to standards like NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and PCI DSS to stay ahead of evolving compliance requirements.
  • Drive Training and Awareness: Deliver programs to boost organizational readiness and cultivate a security-conscious culture.

Essential Skills and Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in cybersecurity operations, incident response, vulnerability management, or network security.
  • Proven track record managing and resolving incidents (e.g., malware, breaches, network intrusions).
  • Hands-on expertise with tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, and forensic platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of vulnerability management frameworks, CVSS scoring, and risk prioritization.
  • Proficiency in firewall configuration, network traffic analysis, and zero-trust architectures.
  • Experience with cloud security in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.


Bonus Skills: Experience with SOAR tools, threat hunting, DevSecOps, containerized environments, or AI in cybersecurity.

  • Certifications like CISSP, CISM, GIAC (GCFA, GCIH), or OSCP are a plus.
