Our Speech-Language Pathologist is accountable for:
 • Delivering evidence-based speech and language services to students, both individually and in groups, to support communication needs in the school setting
 • Conducting assessments and interpreting results to identify articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication challenges
 • Collaborating with teachers, special education teams, and families to develop and implement IEP goals and classroom strategies
 • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation that meets school, state, and federal compliance standards (e.g., IDEA, Medicaid billing when applicable)

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
 • Deep understanding of speech and language development and the impact of communication disorders on learning, behavior, and social interaction
 • Experience developing and contributing to IEPs and familiarity with IDEA/504 accommodations and Response to Intervention (RTI) models
 • Proficiency in using a variety of therapy approaches and tools, including AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), phonological awareness strategies, and language intervention techniques
 • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for partnering with students, educators, and families in a school-based environment

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and possess a current, valid license or certification to practice in the state, as well as a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility through ASHA.
