JOB DESCRIPTION
Kelly Services has partnered with a 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) company to hire multiple forklift operators across 1st and 2nd shift! This 3PL provides temperature controlled, ambient, food grade, public warehousing including dry van truckload, and intermodal drayage.
 

As a forklift operator, you will perform a variety of duties required within the warehouse. Your warehouse duties will include:

• Safely operate sit-down forklift (50% - 75% of the shift)
• Pick and prepare orders for outbound shipment
• Verify merchandise and ensure quality and accuracy
• Work from daily schedule, work orders, verbal and written instructions
• Other duties as assigned

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ mo. warehouse experience, ideally in a distribution environment
• 6+ mo. sit-down forklift experience
• Attention to detail: accurate data entry skills, basic math & reading skills
• Use of proper English grammar, written and verbal
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend and regular lifting of 50 lbs. or more
• High school diploma or GED

• Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems
