- Location: Appleton, WI
- Pay Rate: $22/Hour
- Shift: 2nd shift 2:00PM – 12:30AM, Monday – Thursday
As a Truck Detailer, you'll be responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning, detailing, and minor maintenance tasks on company trucks and commercial vehicles. You will ensure every vehicle reflects our commitment to quality, safety, and professionalism.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash, clean, and detail truck exteriors and interiors.
- Use handheld cleaning equipment, power washers, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
- Clean windows, upholstery, engines, and wheels, and remove debris from truck beds and cabs.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and overall condition, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Apply wax, sealants, and protective finishes as required.
- Properly handle, label, and store all chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Follow all company procedures and quality standards.
- Complete additional detailing or light maintenance tasks as directed by the supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience in vehicle or truck detailing is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods, including repeated bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working in variable weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety practices in handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive work ethic.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
