Senior Aircraft Technician (A&P)
Location: Columbus, MS
CONTRACT POSITION
ONSITE

From building to servicing the next generation of aerospace, our team focuses on quality, productivity and efficiency. We ensure the highest quality of care and safety is built into each aircraft we assemble and maintain. On the eastern border of Mississippi you'll find Columbus, home to our Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. It's here that we produce the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components Conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose malfunction or failures on the following aircraft systems: aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant and engine controls.
• Complete forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work.
• Instruct and mentor less experience technicians in tasks.

Requirements:

• Minimum of six (6) years of aviation maintenance experience
• Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Flightline, Helicopter, and Safran Turbomeca engine experience is highly desirable but not required.
