Company is looking for an Accounting and Membership Administrator.
This position will receive membership applications from organizers in the field and will transmit a deduction authorization to the employer. This will typically consist of an Excel spreadsheet displaying the amount to be deducted and the corresponding unique identifier for the employee/new member.
Review the deduction report from the employer to ensure accuracy in the amounts received and the inclusion of members.
Update and add members' profile information on an ongoing basis.
Reconcile reports and deductions from members' dues and transmit to the group insurance carrier.
Pay vendors twice a month.
Prepare reports for the CPA to perform a quarterly review
Track and report membership growth
Process invoices
Submit payroll to the payroll vendor.
Answer basic questions from members or direct them to the appropriate person
Generate financial reports like the income statement and balance sheet
Updating the database.

This position will work closely with the National Director and the Secretary-Treasurer, as well as with the contact persons from the public agencies where members are employed and the CPA firm.
Currently this is a parttime position. Flexible with either 3 days, 8 hours a days or 4 days, 6 hours a day. Start time flexible between 6am -8am start time. This role will eventually become a full-time hybrid role.
