• Location: 4643 Waimea Canyon Dr, Kauai Region, Hawaii
• Pay Rate:$25/hr
• Experience: Some experience with cash handling and data entry preferred

Job Description:

Kelly Services is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk for a 3-month contract position located at 4643 Waimea Canyon Dr in the Kauai Region. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of accounting functions across all regional facilities. 

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

**General Accounting (85%):**

- Assist in cashiering and receipt posting.
- Process and post all payments received from various facilities to sub-ledgers and spreadsheets.
- Prepare daily deposit slips for all facilities.
- Assist in reconciling daily transactions as needed.
- Update subsidiary logs and schedules related to hospital accounting on a monthly basis.
- Maintain timely accounts receivable data to meet hospital, clinic, and corporate targets.

**Other Accounting Duties (15%):**

- Accounts Payable:
  - Sort and distribute department mail.
  - Assist in uploading documents into the financial system.

- Payroll/Leave:
  - Prepare and update leave balances.
  - Sort, stamp, and upload documents as needed.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Previous experience with cash handling and data entry preferred.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
