
Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to manage the day-to-day financial operations of outgoing payments and incoming revenue. The ideal candidate will have experience in both A/P and A/R functions, a strong understanding of accounting practices, and excellent communication skills. This is a vital role supporting our finance department to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely financial processing.
Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable (A/P):-
Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports

Ensure timely payments via checks, ACH, or wire transfers

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies

Maintain organized records of all A/P transactions

Support month-end close and accrual processes

Generate and distribute customer invoices promptly

Monitor receivables and follow up on overdue accounts

Post and reconcile payments accurately

Prepare and maintain aging reports

Collaborate with sales and customer service to resolve billing issues

Assist with audits, financial reporting, and account analysis

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Support Finance/Accounting Manager with special projects as needed

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)

Proven experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable roles

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)

Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy

Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
-
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
