Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$20-25/hour DOE.
8am-5pm, Mon-Fri, Remote

What's a typical day as an Accounts Receivable Specialist? You'll be:
• Analyzing accounts to identify overdue payments and reaching out to clients via phone, email, or letters to ensure timely payments while addressing any discrepancies or disputes.
• Providing exceptional customer service while collecting payments and educating customers on payment terms and options.
• Coordinating with sales and client services to resolve issues that may cause payment delays.
• Negotiating payment plans or settlements with clients who are unable to pay their debts in full.
• Maintaining accurate records of all communications, payment arrangements, and actions taken on each account.
• Preparing and presenting detailed reports on collections performance, outstanding receivables, and aging reports to management.
• Analyzing trends in accounts receivable to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
• Recording commission revenue by line of business and establishing communication with carriers for commission statements.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Collections (preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent).
• Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Have skills in negotiating payment arrangements that are acceptable to both the company and the debtor.
• Can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
