Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
This is a contracted position thru Kelly Services.
Job length:- 6-12 months
Hours 7AM-3PM M-F
Pay 45k-50k per year.

What's a typical day as Additive Lab Technician? You'll be:
- Performing Archimedes density measurements on sintered parts with a focus on repeatability and accuracy.
- Preparing samples for metallographic analysis, including cutting, mounting, grinding, polishing, and etching.
- Operating and maintaining equipment for magnetic saturation (Ms) measurements and coercivity (Hc) testing.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate lab records and test logs while following lab protocols.
- Assisting engineers in evaluating microstructures using optical and SEM techniques.
- Supporting inventory, calibration, and routine maintenance of lab instruments.
- Complying with safety and cleanliness standards in the lab environment.
-Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have hands-on experience with basic lab tools and measurement equipment.
- Are familiar with density testing, polishing, or magnetic measurement techniques.
- Have prior experience working with carbide (WC-Co) or other powder metallurgy materials.
- Possess experience with VSMs, permeameters, or other magnetic measurement instruments.
- Have an understanding of sintering processes and metallography principles.
