Job Title: Administrative Assistant I (Temporary – 6 Months)
Location: Rancho Dominguez, CA
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (flexible depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: Early October
Position Overview
We are seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant I to join our Rancho Dominguez branch for approximately six months. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to branch managers, coordinate office tasks, and ensure efficient communication across internal and external stakeholders. This role requires professionalism, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Handle highly confidential information with discretion.

Maintain reports and perform data entry as needed.

Manage calendars and daily schedules; arrange and coordinate meetings.

Draft, proofread, and prepare letters, emails, reports, and presentations.

Attend meetings, take/distribute minutes, and follow up on action items.

Provide support for in-house/off-site meetings, training sessions, and events.

Coordinate catering, purchases, and process AP invoice arrangements.

Provide reception and telephone coverage as required.

Arrange travel logistics, including transportation and accommodations.

Prepare materials and presentations for meetings and business trips.

Communicate effectively with managers, associates, and external contacts.

Assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills

1–2 years of administrative assistant experience (electrical distribution or related industry preferred).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Experience with ERP systems a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to work independently.

Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
