Job Title: Advanced Production Operator (3rd Shift)
Shift Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Compensation: $25.80 per hour
Location: Portland, OR
Job Overview: As a Mixer Operator, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality feed products by executing all mixing requirements, including the hand addition of micro ingredients, in line with the Enterprise Quality Management System (EQMS). You will utilize the E1 system and follow the Lead Person's production line-up to ensure efficient mixing, including sequencing, flushing, and clean-out procedures. This position also involves operating transfer systems and grinding operations, monitoring ingredient inventories to maintain adequate stock, and supplying downstream operations with finished products as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all mixing tasks as outlined in the EQMS, adhering to established guidelines.
- Hand-add micro ingredients and ensure proper sequencing and flushing of equipment.
- Operate the transfer system and grinding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor bin inventories and maintain sufficient operating levels of ingredients.
- Ensure timely supply of products to downstream operations based on production needs.
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and housekeeping guidelines.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, both written and electronic.

- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Lead Person.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Entry-level position; no prior experience required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds from the floor to a height of 50 inches using safe lifting practices.
- Must be comfortable working at heights, such as on top of bins and equipment.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations with a calculator.
