What's a typical day as an Archivist Associate?

You'll be:

  • Assisting with data review and compilation for archived materials

  • Boxing materials for shipment and disposal

  • Supporting organization, handling, and storage of archived records, biological specimens, and study materials

  • Using archival management systems to track, store, and maintain integrity of archived materials

  • Following procedures and documenting results according to SOPs and regulatory standards

  • Identifying and communicating data issues to management

  • Assisting internal and external customers requesting study materials

  • Performing other related duties as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • HS diploma, GED, or Associate's degree

  • Valid driver's license

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred but not required (training provided)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Computer skills sufficient to learn and operate validated systems

  • Ability to lift boxes and perform light physical tasks

Additional Details:
  • Temporary 6-month contract

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

  • Certifications in personal lift, forklift, and power jack will be provided (paid by CRL)

  • Tobacco-free facility

  • Exposure to paper, boxes, and archival materials
