Description

Kelly is now hiring Assembler's for a customer in Chantilly, Va.
You will be responsible for assembling a variety of mechanical and electrical components, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. 

- Pay Rate: $24-$26 (depending on experience)
- Shift: Monday- Friday 6am-2pm

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform diversified electro-mechanical assembly operations, following good manufacturing practices.
- Build sub-assemblies with varied components, including wiring, cabling, and harness configurations.
- Mount sub-assemblies into instrument cases and attach various electro-mechanical components.
- Assemble mechanical assemblies, including sensors, electrical components, and printed circuit boards.
- Install harness assemblies to final instruments and subunits.
- Conduct instrument pretests using preparatory software and inspect equipment.
- Read and adhere to assembly and test procedures, filling out all necessary documentation.
- Review assembly procedures and suggest improvements when necessary.
- Follow Lean Manufacturing Techniques and Barcoding processes.
- Maintain reliable attendance and perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related field.
- Strong understanding of assembly and test procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
