  • Payrate: $15.00
  • Location: Dubois, PA 15801
  • Duration: temp to perm
  • Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 2-2-3 rotation schedule (work two days, off two days, work three days, then rotate) 

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years experience 
  • Mechanical aptitude as evidenced by work experience, high school/tech school coursework, hobbies, etc. 
  • Capable of performing hands-on tasks and manual labor safely and efficiently 
  • Will be standing for 12 hrs at a time during their shift. 
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. 
  • Must be able to climb and descend stairs. 
  • Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis. 
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. 
  • May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required. 
  • May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt. 
  • Work surfaces may include concrete. Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone. 
     

Responsibilities:

  • Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality. 
  • Successfully completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality. 
  • Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence. 
  • Assembles and/or tests mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination. 
  • May assemble minor variations of in-house standard products. 
  • Follows clear assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, pvc thermal welding and thread taping. Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures. 
  • Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently ShopVue) 
  • Completes required documentation related to production. 
  • Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities. 
  • Reads and understands simple layout and assembly drawings. 
  • Maintains equipment and area in clean safe condition. 
  • Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
