  • Duration: July 21, 2025 – October 31, 2025
  • Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • Tasks may include, but are not limited to, inserting, working with adhesives, and part marking of various thermoplastic and thermoset parts
  • 1+ year of experience as an Assembly Operator using semi-automated tools (e.g., engraver units, pneumatic crimping tools, hydraulic presses, potting compound preparation and assembly)
  • Ability to set up new jobs with minimal supervision, producing little to no scrap or fall out
  • Capable of performing all duties of an Assembly Operator I, including training and delegating tasks to lower-level operators
  • Assist in identifying quality issues within the cell
  • Proficient in measuring with calipers, micrometers, height stands, CMM, etc.
  • Contribute to team efforts by supporting tasks as directed by Production Supervisor or Cell Lead
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
  • Computer skills and basic Math aptitude
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work in above ambient temperatures
  • Maintain high attendance standards
  • Strict adherence to written and verbal instructions
  • Accurate, legible, and honest completion of all paperwork
  • Maintain workspace before, during, and after shifts following 5S principles
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on output, quality, cost, and delivery
  • Ability to escalate problems promptly within the department
  • Compliance: This position is subject to export controls under ITAR; qualified applicants must meet the “U.S. Person” definition (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual such as refugee or asylee).

  • Set up new jobs with minimal supervision, ensuring minimal scrap and fallout
  • Perform duties of Assembly Operator I, including training and delegating to lower-level operators
  • Identify and assist in resolving quality issues within the cell
  • Measure components using calipers, micrometers, height stands, CMM, etc.
  • Support team efforts by executing tasks as directed by supervisors or cell leads
  • Maintain workspace cleanliness and organization in accordance with 5S principles
  • Engage in continuous improvement projects to enhance output, quality, and efficiency
  • Escalate issues promptly to ensure smooth departmental operations
