Location: South Windsor
Pay Rate: $17.35/hr - $18.35/hr

Schedule:

  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: Rotating schedule:
    6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Mandatory overtime required

Responsibilities

As a Machine Operator / Assistant Digital Press Operator, you will:

  • Support Digital Press Operators by preparing, loading, shelving, and feeding stock materials.

  • Assist with press setup, breakdown, cleaning, and daily maintenance tasks.

  • Monitor print quality to ensure all output meets company standards.

  • Help distribute completed materials and capture necessary production records.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all departmental procedures.

  • Operate high-speed electronic printers according to daily print orders.

  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of printed output and ensure correct job destinations.

  • Troubleshoot minor printing issues and escalate when needed.

  • Support overall production flow and meet daily production targets.

Qualifications

This role might be a great fit if you:

  • Have prior experience in machine operation, printing, or a production environment (preferred but not required).

  • Are detail-oriented with strong quality-control awareness.

  • Can stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and loading materials.

  • Are eager to learn digital press operations and work well under supervision.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to shifting priorities.
