We are currently looking for a Vehicle Prep Technician to join our team in Stanfield, AZ
This role will be responsible for preparation of pre-production and production vehicles used for media events, from initial dealer-type incoming inspection to applying mechanical and other updates to ensure that the vehicles represent production state when used in the various media events. The technician will also need to interact daily with other technicians and engineers. Evaluation of the vehicles to detect both static and dynamic concerns is required.

Job functions Include but are not limited to:

• Perform incoming inspection and prep
• Evaluate vehicle performance via test drives and identify root cause of issues found
• Troubleshoot and repair vehicle concerns found
• Managing vehicle preparation schedules to meet timing requirements
• Performing mechanical service on vehicles
• Cleaning and detailing vehicles prior to shipment

Minimum Qualifications:

• HS Diploma (or equivalent) is required. Associate's degree or some college coursework is preferred;
• Minimum 6 years' experience in automotive dealership service area or automotive development testing
• Disciplined time management & capability to complete work on-time to meet deadlines
• Good verbal & written communication skills. Comfortable working cross-functionally with technicians, engineers & suppliers.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to work overtime as required, and travel within North America (approximately 10% required).
