Job Posting: Beer Quality Control Specialist
Rate: $17/hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday, starting at 4:30 pm with 8-10 hour shifts
Location: Savannah, GA
We're in search of an assertive Beer Quality Control Specialist who excels at identifying and addressing issues. You'll be responsible for checking beer pallets for inaccuracies, making necessary corrections, recording errors, and reporting to the Area Manager to ensure accountability. Additionally, you'll handle materials following company policies and may assist with inventory control, sales pickup, shipping & receiving, and returns, while keeping the logistics environment secure and clean.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and correct inaccuracies on beer pallets
  • Ensure loads are properly stacked and secure
  • Maintain records to monitor picker accuracy
  • Submit daily checklists for power equipment and report issues
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Keep the facility neat, clean, and orderly
  • Assist with logistics security
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Preferably six months of similar experience
  • Experience with pallet jacks and forklifts preferred
Critical Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to use company technology and maintain product knowledge
  • Familiarity with computerized hand-held devices
  • Skills in inventory and quality control
Working Conditions:
  • Maintain high standards in varying environments, including exposure to heat and humidity
  • Occasionally work in refrigerated areas
  • Handle moderate to loud noise levels and some dust and fumes from equipment
Physical Requirements:
  • Reliable attendance
  • Frequent operation of pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Stand, walk, lift, carry, and handle with hands and fingers
  • Stack, unstack, and relocate products regularly
  • Lift 50-65 lbs, including some overhead lifting
  • Specific vision abilities for close and distance work
