Kelly Services is currently partnering with a leading insurance provider in the Avon, CT area to fill a Billing Representative position in their Billing Department. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a reputable organization offering long-term potential.
Schedule & Hours

Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Unpaid Lunch Break: Employee can choose between a 30-minute or 60-minute break
-
Total Hours/Week: Between 35 and 37.5 hours, depending on lunch break selection

Bonus Perk: Lunch is provided by the company, up to $20 per day
Position Summary:
The Billing Representative will assist in the daily operations of the billing department. Responsibilities include:

Posting payments promptly into the database

Updating account statements
-
Releasing invoices
-
Reconciling accounts
-
Identifying and resolving discrepancies
This role requires a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Requirements:

Strong computer and data entry skills
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
-
Ability to navigate websites and databases
-
Excellent organizational, documentation, and multitasking skills
-
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
-
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and phone etiquette
-
A patient, positive, and empathetic attitude—especially when working with a retiree client base
Compensation:
Rate to be determined per our existing contract agreement with Kelly Services.
