Biomanufacturing Associate II/III
Location: San Antonio, Texas

Currently hiring for several Biomanufacturing Associates II & III with manufacturing company in San Antonio, TX.  This company specializes in providing cGMP manufacturing, bioanalytical, and process development services. Position Summary
As a Biomanufacturing Associate II/III, you will be responsible for supporting cGMP manufacturing processes. You'll ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines within our controlled cleanroom environment. You'll report directly to the Upstream/Downstream Supervisor and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has meticulous attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Support Manufacturing Processes: Contribute to daily clinical and commercial manufacturing programs by executing and documenting batch records in compliance with current Good Documentation Practices.
  • Documentation Management: Revise and review SOPs, batch records, and other manufacturing-related documentation.
  • Upstream/Downstream Operations: Perform microbial fermentation and/or mammalian cell culture.
  • Upstream: Use bacterial fermentation and mammalian single-use systems (up to 1000L), continuous flow centrifuges, and homogenization and depth filtration operations.
  • Downstream: Operate bench-scale to large-scale filtration systems (TFF and depth filtration) and chromatographic systems (AKTA, HPLC, Agilent). You'll also be involved in packing and evaluating columns and performing drug substance bulk fills and aseptic handling.
  • Quality and Compliance: Support deviation and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) resolutions. Maintain company and client confidentiality, and ensure your team adheres to all safety policies.
  • Material and Equipment Management: Kit and accession incoming materials to ensure manufacturing readiness. Assist facilities in managing equipment calibration and preventive maintenance to ensure proper functionality. Qualifications
    Required Experience:
    • Manufacturing Associate II: 1-2 years of biomanufacturing experience with a high school diploma, or 1 year of experience with an associate or bachelor's degree.
    • Manufacturing Associate III: 3-4 years of biomanufacturing experience with a high school diploma, or 3+ years of experience with an associate or bachelor's degree.
    Essential Skills:
    • Proven experience working in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
    • Strong background in cGMP principles and Quality Management Systems.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Working knowledge of commercial and phase-appropriate cGMPs and understanding of global regulatory requirements.
