Schedule: Mon-Fri 5AM-330PM
Duration: Permanent position with benefits
Location: Ladson, SC

What's a typical day as a Body Shop Mechanic? You'll be:
• Installing new door openings or frames to support wheelchair positions
• Following blueprints accurately to complete conversions
• Cutting, welding (welding not required but a plus), building, and inspecting welds for durability
• Dismantling vehicle components and reinstalling (axles, gas tanks, fuel lines, brake lines, exhaust, etc.)
• Diagnosing problems and making corrections
• Performing all duties to meet company quality standards
• Complying with all safety guidelines as directed
• Completing other duties as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Are proficient using tools such as plasma cutters, grinders, chop saws, drills, impacts, wrenches, sockets, tape measure, blueprints, and recognize welding symbols and specifications
• Have welding exhaust systems and stainless-steel experience (a plus, but not required)
• Have 12v wiring experience (a plus, but not required)
• Have the ability to maintain a valid driver's license
• Have automotive maintenance experience
